Newly available HVO catalyst portfolio for production of renewable fuels
HOUSTON, June 8, 2023 - Ketjen Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Albemarle Corporation and a leader in catalyst and specialty chemicals, today announced the launch of its ReNewFine catalyst system for 100% hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) processing and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production.
Initially developed as a custom solution for Neste, a forerunner and leading producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, Ketjen’s ReNewFine for 100% HVO applications is now commercially available to the general market.

Since 2005, Neste has successfully used Ketjen’s catalyst solutions to maximize the production of renewable fuels and improve its operational efficiency with a range of raw materials at Neste’s refineries.
